Steeping Tea

Pouring Tea


As the steam curls for the kettle just before it boils, pour a little hot water into the teapot to rince. Pour this water out then then refill tea pot. Never use boiling hot water, as this will burn the delicate sencha green tea leaves. Use 1-2 teaspoons of Infusion loose leaf tea, allow the tea and fruits to draw for 2 to 5 minutes for a soft & light rose & berry flavour. For a richer, deeper flavour with a tannin and citus body, infuse for 10 minutes.

We suggest you choose spring or purified water for the cleanest, freshest taste.

Infusion Tea looks beautiful steeped in a glass teapot. Watch and enjoy the colours and bouquets unfold.

If you wish to sweeten, try a little honey or apple juice concentrate, or add a slice of fresh lemon to amplify the fresh citrus notes.

Iced Teas

Iced Infusion Tea
Use 2-3 teaspoons of Infusion loose leaf tea into a teapot or glass pitcher
Place loose leaf tea into a mesh infuser or a unbleached tea bag
Add 10 oz purified hot water, just before boiling temperature
Infuse for 5-10 minutes
Allow to cool to room temperarture, the refrigerate to chill
Add iceblocks and fresh lemon slices to serve

Islander Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Watermelon juice 5 oz
Ginger juice 1 oz
Add iceblocks and slithers if watermelon & ginger to serve

 

Citron Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Lime juice 1 oz
Lemon juice 1 oz
Grapefruit Juice 1 oz
Stevia or Sugar 1 teaspoon
Add iceblocks, fresh lemon & lime slices to serve


Green Apple Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Green Apple juice 3 oz
Fresh whole mint leaves, lightly bruised 1 oz
Add iceblocks & fresh lemon slices to serve


Pomegranate Green Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Pomegranate juice 3 oz
Fresh basil small handful of broken leaves
Fresh Lime Slices slice to serve
Add fresh pomegranate seeds, lime wedges and iceblocls to serve


Rose Petal Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Rose Water 3 oz
Stevia or Sugar 1 teaspoon
Add fresh lemon slices & rose petals to serve


Lemon Grass, Orange Blossom & Infusion Iced Tea
Tonic Infusion Tea- iced 10 oz
Iced Lemon Grass Tea 5oz
Orange Blossom Water 1 oz
Stevia or Sugar 1 teaspoon
Add fresh cut Lemon Grass sprigs to serve
